Re: Diesel Smoke - Need help
Take the original dustalpha.dds and check out the transparency layers. I think it makes use of that.

I didn't think you sounded rude at all. I just wanted to clarify what I said, turns out it's not a good test anyway.

Re: w button keeps going full power
I was giving you a way to prove that it is either LFS causing it or the keyboard itself. Sounds like you got an old stuck key that's all. But you can prove it by opening notepad when it occurs again. You asked if it was an LFS bug, just providing a way to help you answer that yourself. I doubt it is...

Re: Trouble with loading some Websites
The reason I asked if you had a DNS specified is because if you had one, then it maybe not up to date. Auto/blank DNS is safer as your ISP should direct to one automatically.

Re: Trouble with loading some Websites
I would try rebooting your modem & routers and PC first. still no luck? Start >> Run.. >> cmd ping youtube.com ping lfsforum.net ping facebook.com ping google.com Do theses commands work, as in sucessfully ping the sites? You could try post the results of Start >> Run... >> cmd >> ipconfig /all ...

Re: Windows 7 startup problem
But doesn't Windows 7 format the destination partition for you before it installs? WinXP did this. Anyway... if you don't have data on the secondary/extended partition you should remove all partitions using the Win7 CD/installer >> http://images.appleinsider.com/win7install-090205-6.png and re-creat...

Re: Using test patch z22 and can't find CLC [SOLVED]
Wizard, I've moved your question to here. Read the first post.
Just change the filter option TCP to [yes] in the server list. You can then use z22 and find CLC.

Using test patch z22 and can't find CLC [SOLVED]
There is a new way that LFS scans the server list in the latest test patch z22. If have upgraded to z22 and you cannot locate the CLC CityLifeCrew server then you must make sure you have enabled TCP to [yes] in the server filters at the bottom of the screen. The CLC server will update to UDP when an...
