Which is best game controller?
Ok now first off, no system is better then other for controls. I can play any xbox game that is on pc just as easliy so I don't understand that comment. Also I personally hate the playstation controls I have never ever gotten used to them. PS1 & PS2 where the main systems I played before I owned any of those systems at the time they were out becuase my neighbour would play it everyday. I got used to the nintendo controls, xbox, yet for some reason never ever got used to ps2/1 controllers. So by saying there better just doesn't make sense to me, I am sure you feel the same way about xbox controllers.

Re: COD4...
Yea I find Xbox controllers too fiddly...too many buttons and not enough fingers/hands/arms...PS3 controllers were hand-crafted by God himself for the ultimate in gaming! I find the PS3 controllers sorta moulded to my hand shape...which is nice lol

Re: COD4...
Off topic/Off topic,
I used to be a big fan of PS2-type controller because I never tried the X-Box controller. (usual fan-boy idea) When the XBox-360 controller came out I tried it and quite liked it, for about 30 mins.
This is the reason I like PS controllers better:
If I use either XBOX-S or PS2 for an 8 hour stretch the PS2 controller gives me less thumb strain because the left stick is in a more natural place for left/right movement. The X-box left stick can only be moved using one muscle group (lower thumb) which quickly gets tired, while the left stick on the PS2 pad can be moved left/right using a variety of muscles in my thumb, upper/lower thumb muscles or even my wrist can be used to guide my thumb left and right.
I can play, Longer, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger la la
When your as old and RSI ridden as myself, you learn to appreciate what works and what doesn't.
Just a question. Isn't the official PS3 the same shape as the official PS2 Dual Shock controller and that was the same shape as the previous ones, PS1 etc?dougie-lampkin wrote:..PS3 controllers were hand-crafted by God himself....

See, even JJ agrees with me
When I say they were made by God, I mean that the controller is in a comfortable, natural position. Having said that, consoles ruin games, and should never be used...blah...

Re: COD4...
Actually the xbox controller is very simular. I think xbox and nintendo had the same idea when designing, although nintendo's controller was a bit more coulourfull and there bottom right stick was so tiny. I still love the gamecube controller for one reason and I wish I could use it with lfs. grat R/L buttons and great analog stick. Better then the xbox and playstation for those features in my opinion.wentz22 wrote:Off Topic: GameCube Controler FTW

Re: COD4...
Don't forget I use chase view to. I'm console mode re-incarnate. Love my Chase view and PS3 pad on LFS. I like to watch my car get tail-happy and play like NFS style with proper LFS physics. Yes consoles have ruined me, but I'm loving it, so MehEaglezor wrote:dont say that lol, jj uses a ps2 contoler of lfs loldougie-lampkin wrote:See, even JJ agrees with me

Splitted the discussion so the original can still be about CoD4.
The swedish word for speed is 'fart'.
