Custom Computer Case Project
Hey all,
Well, I have decided to set apon doing a small computer project in building myself a new custom computer case. My only problem is, ideas. I need helping thinking of an fun original idea for my computer case, if you have any idea please post here.
My only real criteria is this it has to be reasonably portable and have an area large enough to fit a full ATX motherboard in. I've not really got a set budget so suggest anything you like (within reason of course)
This topic isn't open for discussion, just the pitching of ideas, kthx.

Re: Custom Computer Case Project
You could try to build something similar to this.
Well, of course not an exact copy of that but you could take the idea of integrating your monitor on the side of your case, that looks pretty cool to me.

Re: Custom Computer Case Project
I'd prefer idea that invole just a computer case rather than a combo as I go to a lot of lan partys and space can become a big issue.
Ideas I've had so far that I like are things like a miniature Jukebox or vending machines.
I'd rather build a computer into, or to look like, an every day object rather than just a custom case.

Make a case out of a suitcase or an old speaker. You need to remove the magnets of course.

Re: Custom Computer Case Project
That was a nice video of the slow-mo welding.
Someone made a lego case - which was cool, but strong??? Plus looked kinda ugly.
Millenium Falcon case looked nice..

Look at these crazy kids....

haha NES PC Ultra retro. Imagine carrying that in and saying lets play some NES old skool. Then it's starts playing Crysis in Hi-Def.
This ones got the ghetto blasterfunk.. Speakers are included so that's a space saver right there.
What about a mini bar fridge? Then, you wouldn't need cooling fans or water cooling for overclocking. And it could keep your drinks cold at the same time. But then a fridge kinda looks like a computer anyway. So no-one would even realise.

Re: Custom Computer Case Project
Fridge would be a definate nono, they are banned from lan partys.
A Nes pc would be nice, but it's not really big enough for me.
Thinking over Pass me's idea, what do you guys think about a uf1?

Re: Custom Computer Case Project
Get a model of a mini copper S. 1/10 size or something big. Yeah.
But I think that truck is a mini-PC also.

Still quite open to ideas.
